To say we were ecstatic to open our doors to our military family would be a major understatement.

“We are thrilled to welcome our first ever guest at the Fisher House in New Orleans. The Fisher House is a home away from home for families of Veterans receiving care at the Veterans medical center.
Ms. Ty’Kereia Burt made the trip from Magee, Miss. to accompany her father Mr. David Stubbs as he receives treatment in New Orleans. She remarked that staying at the Fisher House is “a blessing” that saved her from having to make repeated 300-mile round trips or paying for a hotel to be in New Orleans with her father.
